“New normal” is just an empty thought, or way to get away with disrespectful notions, and make it seem ok or “normal” lol. The elderly, especially the older elders have been forgotten in this superficial world of crappy media and politics we have created. The Democrats have been jumping over each other and taking each other out at any cost (without any depth), while the Republicans have been toting the line of morality. What is moral, and immoral? Politics and media need to have some shred of character, otherwise it becomes meaningless, which is pretty much where we are at right now.
Older seniors are forced to take a backseat, as the people are still driving or “veering” into the middle of the road, instead of slowing down and yielding (to traffic). People are all up in your biscuit, like they have the right to your business. Some local politicians and even churches have turned into mini “want to be mobsters” who don’t care what seniors are involved, or their welfare. Driving or walking in villages have turned into a video game, “Frogger.” The older seniors don’t want problems, so they just stay away from the sidewalks altogether. It’s terrible, that a person’s wealth establishes their voice, instead of their character. Being “bummy” #bummy is not how you dress or how much money you have, it’s your attitude, and lack of depth. Of course, someone honking doesn’t affect them (right after they drive aggressively) because he or she is a “bummy” dude or dudette. We have created a world of “bummy” rich people, and “bummy” aristocrats.
And P.S. stop writing the labels so damn small on everything!!! That is terrible when seniors try to cook, or drink, or eat something, and they need extra large bifocals; especially in the directions.
